What we actually do

We qualify the lot before we offer it.

Four things stand between a lot and a clean arrival: how the crop was brought off the field, the residues a standard screen cannot see, the lab that can see them, and the read of that result against the exact standard your material has to clear. We cover all four, per lot, before anything is offered.

The analysis

Clean before the lab. Proven after it.

A · At origin

The residue that is never applied

Polar residues do not arrive in a seed by accident. Glyphosate, diquat and paraquat reach grain overwhelmingly through pre-harvest desiccation — the crop is sprayed to dry it down ahead of the combine. Our growers do not desiccate. Production is fully mechanized and the crop is taken on its own natural dry-down. That is why the polar panel reads the way it does. It is not a reason to skip the panel: we still run it on every lot, because a practice is not a proof.

B · The polar panel

The residues a standard screen cannot see

Most conventional chia is screened on a standard multiresidue panel that physically cannot see the polar pesticides — glyphosate, AMPA, paraquat, diquat, phosphonic acid. Those are the ones that fail a lot at the port. We run them, per lot, at Primoris in Belgium (LC-MS/MS, QuPPe polar method), and report the figure — not just “pass.”

C · The laboratories

Named where it counts, per lot, 3–5 days

The residue panel is run at Primoris (Belgium) — multiresidue plus polars, LC-MS/MS on the QuPPe polar method, ISO/IEC 17025 accredited, LOQ 0.01 — and Primoris is named because that is the panel a buyer is here for. Heavy metals, microbiology, purity and moisture run alongside it at ISO/IEC 17025-accredited European laboratories. Per lot, 3–5 day turnaround. The analytical file travels with the cargo.

Method

We report the figure, not a stamp.

Every lot is a separate report against your spec. We show you the analytes before you commit QA time — not after a container is on the water. MRLs are matched against current EU limits, updated as they change.

D · The system

A lab reports a lot. Our system reports it against you.

A certificate of analysis is a wall of numbers. Whether those numbers clear your destination and your buyer’s private list is a separate, manual, error-prone read. We built the layer that does it instantly — EU MRLs, US tolerances and private lists held as current structured data, matched to each lot’s result line by line, before it ships.

Same seed, same labs as anyone. The intelligence that turns a lab report into a shipment decision is the part we own.

What protects you

The first container is the risky one. Here is where the risk sits.

01

You don’t prepay

Cash against documents. You pay against the shipping documents, not against a promise. LC negotiable if your bank prefers it.

02

You see the analysis first

The lot’s result against your list, line by line, before the container is booked. A flagged line is a lot we don’t offer you — not a claim you file later.

03

You test the same material

Once your lot is allocated, the sample is drawn from that lot under our sampling protocol — so what your QA assesses and what ships are the same material, not a lookalike. A sealed counter-sample is retained for 24 months against any dispute.

04

One counterparty

We buy and take title. Plant to vessel, the lot and the paperwork are ours to answer for — not a broker forwarding a problem.

Straight answers

What buyers ask before the first container.

You’re a new brand. Why would we take the risk on a first container?
The brand is new; the desk is not. Our founding partners run YAD Logística — over twenty years in Argentine import, export and customs, with its own fleet, its own warehousing in Buenos Aires and Zona Franca La Plata, and customs representation at Buenos Aires, Ezeiza, Campana and La Plata. And the first step carries no risk to price: you send the pesticide list and purity floor, we run it as analytes and return a pass/fail on every line. Nothing is committed until you have seen that.
Do you hold organic certification?
Not in our own name yet — OIA certification is in process, expected from 1 January 2027. Today the material is conventional and we sell it as conventional. What you contract against is this desk: we take title, we commission the analysis, and we answer for the lot.
Is the sesame available now?
No. Sesame trades forward here: we contract against the 2027 crop, shipment from Q2 2027. Chia is the position we hold — 52 MT, shipping November 2026, FOB Buenos Aires. We do not list a position we are not holding.
Which residues do you actually run?
A standard multiresidue panel plus the polars — glyphosate, AMPA, paraquat, diquat and phosphonic acid — at Primoris in Belgium, LC-MS/MS on the QuPPe polar method, ISO/IEC 17025. Heavy metals, microbiology, purity and moisture alongside it at ISO/IEC 17025-accredited European laboratories. Three to five days. We report the figure on each analyte, not a pass.
Whose limits do you match the result against?
Yours. Current EU MRLs, US tolerances, or your buyer’s private list, held as structured data and updated as those limits change. Send the list and it is matched line by line against the lot.
Our internal list is stricter than the EU. Is that a problem?
That is the normal case, and it is the reason the matcher exists. A private list stricter than the EU is held as analytes like any other standard. The demonstration on the quality page shows exactly that: a residue the EU limit lets through, flagged by a private list.
What if a lot cannot meet our list?
Then you know before a container is booked. A flagged line means a lot we do not offer you — not a claim you file after discharge. That is the whole reason the analysis runs before the offer rather than after it.
What is the minimum?
One container — 26 MT, FOB Buenos Aires, cash against documents.
How much can you actually ship?
The written position is 52 MT of 2026 crop chía, contracted and analysed, moving on a 5–20 November 2026 laycan. 500 MT of the 2026 crop is allocated to Ortura. 52 MT of it is contracted and analysed today, and the rest allocates against confirmed specs. Volume beyond the contracted lot is allocated by the container against a confirmed spec, which is the only basis we will commit tonnage on.
What does the first exchange actually cost us?
The spec run is free and there is no obligation — send the list, we run it against a real lot and return the per-line result. If it clears and you tell us destination and volume, we allocate a lot and draw the sample from that lot under our sampling protocol: sample free of charge, courier at your account. Price comes up once you tell us the level you are targeting.
Why is there no price on the site?
A price without a spec is a price for a different lot. The purity floor, moisture, calibre, crop year, the residue list it has to clear, the volume and the destination all move the number — and two lots that read alike on a spec sheet can price differently once the polar panel comes back. Send the list and the volume; the indication comes back against a real lot, not against an average.
Who are we contracting with, exactly?
YAD Logística SRL, tax ID 30-71457965-3, registered at Piedras 519, Monserrat (1070), Capital Federal, Argentina. Company details, registration and bank reference are released with first contact.
Who is the exporter of record?
YAD Logística SRL · CUIT 30-71457965-3. The cargo clears under a licensed exporter; the analytical file travels with it.
